A nine-year-old’s quest to help the homeless started on a car ride. Mandy Sperando lives in Gibsonton. Mandy told us, she was with her brother Jax, when the pair noticed someone in need. “We were on our way to our grandparents,” Mandy said. “And, Jax saw some construction workers and thought they were homeless and it was like, ‘Dad, give them some money!’” Read more.
